Zaria is a Charitable Trust registered in Kenya whose sole purpose is to champion her objectives any part of the republic of Kenya where she might be invited subject to availability of resources. Her overriding objective is Development and Social transformation for any targeted population. Zaria is non-political and hence so dose not affiliate herself with any political establishment. Her services are to all community members regardless of their background.
“Being there” as an equal and caring partner is a value to Zaria. Not the one who knows all, but a listening partner who is ready to hold beneficiaries hand as they strive to walk out of their current live challenges. Zaria detests domineering and over bearing. New and working ideas are introduced through respect and mutual understanding with the beneficiaries.
Zaria is driven by Gods compassion and good will to mankind; that all people should live and enjoy God given life to the fullness. As stewards of Gods work in the world, human beings should support those less fortunate and relief them of their suffering. People are always ready to render a helping hand to the needy but in most cases they lack an honest means to reach them. Zaria seeks to provide that transparent and honest conduit to link the two.
Every individual inborn with innate potentials to make invaluable contribution in the society. Unfortunately, some people are limited by life circumstances to fully develop and use these potentials. A person with a business idea or an innovation may stay in abject poverty by simply lacking seed resources to try their ideas. Bright and talented children from poor backgrounds lack support to further their education and/or learn a trade. Some people simply lack someone to mentor them. All these is what Zaria seek to provide through her compassionate presence to the targeted communities.
While Zaria values presence and emancipation of people for their daily challenges. All efforts are made to ensure that home grown solutions are made. People know what ails them and therefore Zaria will facilitate them to solve their felt needs.
